About Me

Attorney and Counselor at Law
My name is Samuel Joseph St. Romain, but I’ve always been called “Kyle.” This was a decision made for me before I was born. Because I introduce myself as “Kyle,” and the California State Bar has me listed as “Samuel,” I have actually had courtroom clerks and opposing counsel alike call me with accusations that they couldn’t find any “Kyle St. Romain” on the State Bar Website. If the California State Bar website would actually display the “nickname” that I had to explain in detail on my bar application, this name thing would be less of an issue.

A lot people I meet think I have a Canadian accent, which couldn’t be further from the truth: I was born and raised just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. As such, you will probably hear me referring to you and several other people, collectively, as “y’all.” That’s just how I talk.

As your attorney, you can count on me to leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of helping you achieve your legal outcome. I answer all my phone calls personally, and provide a level of individual attention that is hard to find at a larger firm. With trial experience in both California and Texas, I describe myself as a litigator/aspiring trial attorney and am able to assist you with a range of legal services, including: litigation, business law and estate planning.
